Questions
What people ask at every quote visit. The short answer comes first; open a row for the rest.
No. We move the big pieces to the middle of the room and cover them, along with the floors, before anything is opened. Just put away small things like photos, ornaments and anything fragile.
Our low-odour paints are touch-dry in about two hours, so most rooms are back in use the same evening. We’ll tell you up front if a finish needs longer, like enamel on doors and trim.
Two full coats on every wall, over a primer wherever there’s bare plaster, filler or a big colour change. One coat is the most common shortcut in our trade, so it’s written into your quote.
Ten per cent holds your start date. The rest is due only after we’ve walked through the finished job with you and you’re happy with every room.
Our workmanship, for five years. If paint we applied peels, flakes or blisters, we come back and put it right at no cost. The warranty is written on your quote.
We watch the forecast all week. If rain or heavy dew is due, we move your exterior work to the next clear day, tell you the night before and charge nothing extra.
We arrive at 7:30, pack up by 4 and leave the house tidy every afternoon. Shops and offices can book evenings or weekends so they never have to close.
The same crew lead from first coat to last, with one or two painters depending on the size of the job. Everyone is employed by us, police-checked and fully insured. No subcontractors.
